See the whole visit.
A visitor’s route begins before the track and continues after the session. Check-in, orientation, briefing and social space need to be understood together. These relationships are useful starting points for a brief, rather than a substitute for specialist track planning.
Give spectators a place in the story.
Seeing the activity can connect spectators and participants. The relationship between a viewing area, a lounge and the circuit is worth exploring early, alongside accessibility, operational separation and specialist safety requirements.
Plan the support spaces early.
Staff movement, equipment, storage and maintenance need their own conversation. Their requirements should be established with the operator and specialist team before the overall spatial concept is fixed.
